Floyd Earth Week 2024 runs Monday April 15th through Monday April 22nd – the official Global Earth Day. Please join us for this wonderful, small town community excursion into Nature!
Partnership for Floyd is organizing and advertising events and special deals in and around Floyd for this celebratory week. We invite you to participate by offering Nature oriented activities or Earth Week specials at your business, school, church or farm during the week.
A community that celebrates together stays together. So Please Email PartnershipForFloyd@gmail.com if you would like to offer an activity during the week and we will help advertise the fun by spreading the word!
Saturday, April 20th, events will center in Lineberry Park from 10 am till 4 pm with a special “Procession of Appalachian Species Giant Puppet Parade” that will move through town from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm, followed by a FREE ice cream social to celebrate Partnership for Floyd’s 20th birthday. Approved Eco-Oriented vendors and educators are welcome to request a space to set up a table or tent in the park on April 20 for free. Tables and tents are not provided.
